After graduating, i chose this path, direct path to PhD. Have to admit that I'm some coward who were afraid to adapt to the working world..so I chosen this route which I once thought would suit me the most..and also hoping that it would lead me to a better future..
As usual, life wouldn't turn out as easy as you want it to be...I had problems in application, lack of certain documents, admin lost my documents, my documents are set aside to collect dust..all these happened to me almost simultaneously and really drives me crazy..
3 months have passed..and I'm still stuck in the "application" stage..it really hit my determination to walk down this road..keep wondering whether i chose the correct path or not..whether all the effort and tears are worthwhile or not...
Now I'm called for an interview on next Tuesday..finally I can see some shine of light..hope that all the "unluckiness" are gone and bring me back the strength to move on with this ^^
ooo .... Phd good good ... I just read an article from thestar regarding researchers try to publish their work in some low rank journals just to meet the KPI set by the government. Dont do that ya~ haha
